Materize becomes member of the Federation of Security and Defence Industries of Latvia

With the goal to contribute to the nationally and internationally important sector of defence, Materize has joined the Federation of Security and Defence Industries of Latvia (FSDI Latvia). Materize has the right expertise and experience in high-tech, innovations and material sciences to add value to the defence sector and collaborate with companies in this industry.

Materize can offer possible collaboration in new material and coating development, optical system development, sensor integration and energetics, where with its expertise and experience it can be a helping force for innovations in the defence industry.

Materize Head of Sales Olga Bogdanova is delighted to join FSDI Latvia: “Becoming a member of FSDI Latvia is proof of ISSP UL and Materize excellence in the field of high-tech innovations and advanced project management. This is an important step and opportunity for us to provide contribution to the defense sector and society.”

The Federation of Security and Defence Industries of Latvia (FSDI Latvia or DAIF Latvija in Latvian language) was established in the spring of 2013 and involves a wide range of economic sectors, leading universities, and research institutes that have been established at educational and research institutions. As of 2022 the federation has more than 80 members.  FSDI Latvia is the only national organization which represents companies in the security and defence sector, as well as universities.
