Expanding Horizons: Materize at the Big Science Business Forum

Trieste, Italy – From October 1 to October 4, 2024, representatives from ISSP UL and Materize actively participated in the , a major biannual event uniting scientific and industrial stakeholders. Held in Trieste, the forum highlighted collaborative opportunities in large-scale science projects.

Materize was prominently featured at the Latvian booth organized by the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA). Latvian representatives showcased the nation’s expertise in Big Science domains, fostering new partnerships with global industry leaders.

Ainārs Knoks, a researcher from the Energy Materials Laboratory at ISSP UL, took part in a specialized session on hydrogen’s role in Big Science projects, emphasizing cutting-edge applications and innovations in this field. Alongside Olga Bogdanova, they engaged in discussions with industry leaders, identifying opportunities for significant collaborations and long-term projects.
